Life is terrible, but I decided it was beautiful—supposedly said by Bohumil Hrabal, but it seems it was actually Klaudia Fortuniak. In her film about a group of strangers brought together by an unexpected ride on a Łódź tram, the director focuses on the subtleties that most filmmakers overlook in their pursuit of dramatic 'meat.' Thanks to this, Ends and Beginnings turns out to be a story about absurd, yet happy coincidences and the trifles that can give our everyday life flavor and restore its lost meaning.
