In 1955, Ingrid applies for a job at Machado de Assis Bookstore and meets Silvia, a beautiful woman who is in town for a while. Their first intellectual affection becomes emotional. A story of a meeting between two women, carefully aesthetic influenced by Edward Hopper and Tamara de Lempicka paintings. 　　Páginas de Menina is Monica's first film as director and writer. Her background experience as production designer brings her the connection between cinema and painting.
