As per Prod Week, an Umbrella Academy spinoff series, The Sparrow Academy is in active development at Netflix with Steve Blackman attached as an executive producer. 　　Currently, the executive producers attached to this spinoff series are - Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Scott Stuber, Beau Bauman, Gerard Way, Gabriel Bá, John Baldrica, Randi Richmond, Steve Blackman, and Jesse McKeown. UCP will produce the show for Netflix along with Irish Cowboy Productions, Dark Horse Entertainment, and Good One Productions.
