A colour companion piece to Neumann's earlier 5/4, Katar takes a fractured view of a little girl's cold; as her symptoms begin to affect the film's visual language, the images become more fragmented and disorienting until the doctor arrives to treat her.
Another logistically extraordinary film from Neumann, one of the lesser known Polish animators (a former assistant to the great Zbig Rybczynski, with whom he shares similar ideas).
