Dandong in China is bordering the river Amrok with its neighboring North Korean city Shinuiju. Illegal North Korean immigrant Choongshim works at a massage place, but soon gets chased by the Chinese police. The shadow of despair does not disappear even after she gets to the house of a Korean business operator who has been good to her.
