Through a horizontal hierarchy of things, he seeks to express the respect he holds for the world, but he does not idealize the countryside. His gaze, filtered through the visible texture and color of the image, stands in opposition on one hand to digitized, unreal aesthetics, and on the other hand to bucolic myth.
