北京五环外的皮村“工友之家”，一场名为《我们》的戏剧正在排练。剧中，厂工小海和农村出身的华山反思自己过去遭受剥削和歧视的劳动经历，寻找新的出路。在现实中的皮村，小海想结束自己的单身生活，却迟迟不敢迈出一步，华山希望自己有朝一日成为大作家，以“新工人文学”为契机，他们不断引发着外界关注... 　　“The Workers Home", an NGO basedoutside the fifth ring-road of Beijing, people there were rehearsing anon-fictional drama entitled "Us". In the drama, worker XiaoHai andHuashan try to criticize exploitation and discrimination they experienced duringworking, and express their common aspiration of building a new life. 　　In the real world, Xiaohai andHuashan are labeled as "new worker writer" and get noticed by media. Xiaohaiwant to fall in love with somebody, while Huashan is dreaming one day he couldbe a great writer..
